March 28 - What great insight!!!

So today, at Bible study, back in my old school, we were looking at the book of Genesis. And even though I was sleeping through most of it, I was able to respond to the question "so what have you learnt about God?, That is from Genesis 1&2 that we had looked at so far. And I could boldly say that:
1) He was observant, liking to make good things
2) He liked to bless - recalling a question on what blessing did God bless Adam and Eve with, that someone had asked earlier.

Indeed, that is so true. I mean, the Psalmist says that:"How precious are Thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with Thee." Psalm 139v17&18

Have you ever seen a man or a woman in love, they are constantly thinking of one another - how they can buy gifts for each other, how they can please one another, what the other is up to.

In the same way, for someone to think of you so much that it is more in number than the sand is really something. And we have the insight from the book of Jeremiah too that these thoughts that God is thinking towards us are those of peace and not of evil. And so dear ones, relax in Him, because the One who never slumbers nor sleeps has got your back, and He loves to give good gifts unto His own.
