March 31 – For all He’s done
“As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him:
Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.” Colossians 2v6&7
The question then is that what does it mean to walk ye in Christ Jesus the Lord. For instance, if a boss tells an apprentice to walk ye in my ways, he probably means follow my ways, follow my paths, do as I do, do not veer from my paths…
By rooted and built up in Him, we recall the verse which says:
“For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 3v11
Our foundation is Jesus, the Word of God, which is sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the dividing asunder of bone and marrow, soul and spirit; the engrafted word that is able to change our souls. We have to hold fast to Jesus, regardless, no matter what circumstances say, and what He did and accomplished. Being confident in Him- That is how we overcome the world:
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1 John 5v4&5
That is whatever happens, we should be stablished in faith, as we have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Knowing that Jesus and only He is the Way, the Truth and the Life and no one cometh to the Father except through Him. Hallelujah.
Have a wonderful day.
