April 14 - God's grace

Hello everyone,

How are you doing on this day? I hope well. I am good and bonding. Now we see in Titus 2v11 - 13, an exhortation for :

"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world;Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;"

We need as Christians to live with the future in mind at all times. Its not about what is happening at this point in time, but about why it is happening so that we can get to where we want to go to with who we want to - the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. So how do we go about doing it? By the way we live. How should we live? We should deny ungodliness and wordly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world, in order to get to that which we do not now see but by faith are going to. The amplified Bible says:

"It has trained us to reject and renounce all ungodliness (irreligion) and and worldly (passionate) desires, to live discreet (temperate, self-controlled), upright, devout (spiritually whole) lives in the present world," Titus 2v12

And all this is possible through the grace of God that bringeth salvation to us. Hallelujah.
