April 23 – Thanking God for Jesus

Hello everyone,
How are you doing on this day? I hope well. Here in Boston, MA, the sun is shining and the temperature is actually 13 degrees Celsius. Praise the Lord. But we thank God that Jesus is the light of the world, and regardless of rain, or snow, fall or sleet, we still have the life of God on the inside of us and can shine, shine, shine. 2 Timothy 1v10 tell us some of the things that were brought to light through the coming of Jesus:

“But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:” (King James Version).

The Amplified Bible says:
“[It is that purpose and grace] which He now has made known and has fully disclosed and made real [to us] through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, Who annulled death and made it of no effect and brought life and immortality (immunity from eternal death) to light through the Gospel.”
