The 24th day of April, 2007 – How time flies!

Tick, tock, tick, tock – it’s already the 24th day of the 4th month in this new year. How time flies, each day bringing us closer to eternity. One day, we will look back and reminisce about different occurrences that have happened in our lives. There are many things that fly away and pass away, for instance riches, sorrow, and thus we see:

“Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.

Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward the heaven.” Proverb 23v4&5

And also:
“Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness.

For His anger endureth but a moment; in His favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalm 30v4&5

One lasting promise we do know of though is what Jesus said:

“LET not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me.

In My Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14v1-3
